Veggie Tales: It's A Meaningful Life Review/Giveaway

I was introduced to Veggie Tales about nine years ago when my niece was born.  Even as an adult I was hooked on the fun, yet meaningful, stories presented by Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato.  When my children were born, I was introduced to more silliness of the Veggie Tale family, including their favorite Junior the Asparagus.  If your children have yet to meet this fun loving family, they have definitely been missing out.  Every Veggie Tale show, movie, or song teaches a valuable life lesson in a fun, unique way that children can understand. 

Big Idea, Inc. has just released all new Veggie Tale movie called, It's a Meaningful Life.  This movie, starring Larry the Cucumber as Stewart, teaches children the importance of being content in one's life.  Here is a snippet from the back cover of the DVD:

Life is more than a game…

It was the biggest football game of his life and Stewart (Larry the Cucumber) had a chance to win it all. Injured in one bad play, his hopes of playing in the Salad Bowl—and living a life of fame and fortune—are dashed forever. Years later, silly-but-sweet Stewart loves his family, friends and job at the toy train factory, but still wonders “what if” things had been different. When he meets a mysterious train conductor who can turn back time, Stewart gets a chance to have the life he always wanted. Will he find all he’s been looking for? This wonderful DVD, a twist on the classic It's a Wonderful Life, held the attention of my daughters, nieces, and nephews.  That is 7 children, ages 18 months - 9 years, captivated by the movie in front of them.  Not many shows can do that for such a wide range of children.  And since learning to be content with what you have in life is such a difficult concept for children to understand, it was great to listen to what they had to say about it afterwords and where they could be more grateful and content in their own lives.  Check out this trailer from It's A Meaningful Life:
