If you've been following my blog for awhile, you have read about the wonderful little guys from Veggie Tales. We have followed Bob the tomato and Larry the Cucumber as they learned the true meaning of Christmas and Easter and now it is is time to join them and their friends as they learn about greed, rejection, and helping others in Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men.
About the DVD:
In this Veggie-version of the classic tale, Larry the Cucumber stars as Robin Good, a fearless man who roves the town of Bethlingham with his band of merry men to help people by fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople’s hams, donations are down and Robin’s friends take off and decide to give robbing from the rich a try.
Feeling rejected, Robin thinks things can't get any worse, until he finds out that the ham-hoarding Prince has also captured his friends. Can Robin overcome his own hurt, rescue his friends and restore the townspeople's hope?
A story of faith, strength, and friendship, this timeless tale will warm the hearts of children everywhere! My girls and I haven't yet watched this fun looking DVD, but they have watched the above trailer and are ready to go to the store and buy their copy. Big Entertainment will be releasing it on March 3rd at your local Christian bookstore and March 16th everywhere. If your local store doesn't have VeggieTales®: Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Me for sale, you can visit their website to order your own copy.
