Don't Miss Rizzoli & Isles Tonight

Perplexus Original Review and Giveaway

My family and I have just discovered a new fun and very addicting toy.  The Perplexus Original is a 3-D maze game where the user must try to carefully maneuver a small silver marble around a large transparent sphere full of challenging barriers and obstacles.  There are three paths you can use to solve the maze and each is as fun and challenging as the next.

I love that this game keeps my kids thinking and focused the whole time they are playing.  They must turn the the sphere in just the right direction or the marble will fall off their chosen path.  "Perplexus is also a great tool for cognitive development. encouraging children to exercise their problem-solving, motor and dexterity skills, as well as improving hand-eye coordination."  While my daughter's, 5 and 7, like to take their time and get it just right, my husband and I like to to beat the clock and try achieve the faster time.  I also love that it encourages perseverance.  My older daughter is used to being good at most things, so when things get a little difficult she has a tendency to want to give up.  The Perplexus Original has shown her that if she just keeps trying, she will eventually succeed. 

Perplexus is such a fun and educational toy that it has been nominated for Educational Toy of the Year for the 12th Annual Toy of the Year Awards.
