I think I saw it on Animal Planet that possums (or opossums, depending on which side of the US you're on) have the shortest gestation period. I really only remember it because I am NOT fond of them. It's those beady eyes and long tail and the toothy snarl that freak me out.
kangaroo? I only say that because it gets born but then stays in the pouch...

ReplyDeleteIt was the opossum who has a gestation period is 12-13! I'm not a big fan either. :)
