People's Choice Award 2012

The People's Choice Award is coming back January 11, 2012 and now is our time to vote and voice our opinions. There are a lot of great shows this year so it will definitely be a hard choice.  Among my favorites are 2 Broke Girls in the New Comedy category, The Vampire Diaries in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category, and The Secret Circle in the New Drama Category.

2 Broke Girls is a brand new comedy that airs on CBS, Monday nights at 8:30/7:30 c.  This funny new show focuses on two very different girls and their struggles to make it as waitresses at a greasy city diner.  "Sassy, streetwise Max Black works two jobs just to get by, one of which is waiting tables during the night shift at the retro-hip Williamsburg Diner. Sophisticated Caroline Channing is an uptown trust fund princess who's having a run of bad luck that forces her to reluctantly give waitressing a shot. At first, Max sees Caroline as yet another in a long line of inept servers she must cover for, but she's surprised to find that Caroline has as much substance as she does style. When Caroline discovers Max's knack for baking amazing cupcakes, she sees a lucrative future for them, but first they need to raise the start-up money. While they save their tips, they'll stay at the restaurant, working with Oleg, an overly flirtatious Russian cook; Earl, a 75-year-old kool-kat cashier; and Han Lee, the new, eager-to-please owner of the diner. Working together, these two broke girls living in one expensive city might just find the perfect recipe for their big break"   If you have had a chance to tune in to see 2 Broke Girls, give it a try next Monday night!

The Vampire Diaries has been one of my favorite shows for years.  Currently airing their third season, you can catch them on Thursday nights on the CW.  The Vampire Diaries follows two vampire brothers who have both fallen for the same teenage girl Elena.  Although she falls in love when Stephan, the older of the two, she also has feelings from Damon.  There is too much going on for me to explain, but trust me when I say this is a must see show.  Check out more information here: http://www.cwtv.com/shows/the-vampire-diaries/about.  And catch up on past season by getting Season 1 and 2 DVD's.

The Secret Circle is a brand new drama that follows The Vampire Diaries on the CW.  The Secret Circle follows Cassie Blake and her "friends" as she discovers she is a witch.  They form a Secret Circle that binds their powers and believe that none can do magic without the other.  But after being kidnapped by witch hunters, they discover that Cassie is not as bound to the circle as they thought.  Check out this new drama by the WB.  You will definitely love it!

Don't forget, if you don't vote, your favorite may not win. So head on over to the People's Choice Awards website and vote for your favorite today!
