It is easy to say you should avoid fast food restaurants altogether, but it’s not likely to happen. So I looked through Eat This, Not That to find some healthy choices available at some of the most popular fast food joints. An Ultimate Grilled Chicken Sandwich at Wendy’s served with mandarin oranges and medium ice tea has only 480 calories. This is a large enough meal to satisfy your hunger and it won’t stick to your thighs. Arby’s also had a grilled chicken sandwich that will keep you within your calorie budget. At Taco Bell, you can order two Fresco Soft Beef Tacos with a side of Mexican rice for 470 calories. By ordering a Fresco Taco, you have to sacrifice the cheese and sour cream, but if you at a little extra hot sauce, you still have a great taco.

Well, truthfully, I don't eat healthy when I do fast food restaurants. I either don't do them at all or I eat the crud at them. Not a lot of in between for me on this. But I DO like Wendy's baked potato (without the crud).
I agree with Missy, I tend to stay away from FF, but if I am going to do it at all, I go for the gusto. Thanks for stopping by my blog this morning. Have a great Tuesday.
That's it, I am going to die! I eat noone of those foods :-)
I rarely eat Fast Food so when I do, I am going to go big! Sometimes I just CRAVE the grease and fat!!
I'm proud to say that I eat generally 4 of the 8 must have foods a day. I love blueberries and walnuts and they tend to be my snacky food if I need it.
And I don't often do fast food but when I do I make sure I walk home! :)
Speaking of healthy fast food, Subway is my fav! I love it now that they offer any foot long for $5. I eat half and save the other for later! Yum!
My son is so healthy. He eats tomatoes and yogurt every day, if not more than once! Thanks for the reminder.. definitely need to eat more of those foods.
I keep looking at these books and was wondering about them. Now I'll have to check them out. I try to eat healthy. But some days....
I will usually order a salad with a low calorie dressing or get something with chicken. But I still can't help eating my share of french fries. They are my Achilles' heel. :-)
I try to look online for nutritional information before I go out to eat. The best fast food for us has been Subway. 6" Turkey on Wheat...
I look for things that I know will be better for me like salads with low fat dressing on side. I dip my fork tines in dressing then in salad. Whopper Jr minus cheese is actually not too high in calories and satisfies my wanting a burger. :D
thanks for following my blog!
Nice blog. I love the ''useless fact of the day''.
I'm now your new follower.
I try to. I snack on tomatoes, spinach, hummus, and feta cheese. Yogurt and blueberry smoothie, with my oatmeal. Not to mention a handful of nuts.

Great post, very informative! I didn't know most of it and thought I ate healthy. Hummm....
Have a safe and fun St. Patty's day!

I am addicted to the new oatmeal at McDonalds. I love all the fruit chunks in it, and I never feel guilty about eating it.
It's all about making good choices. Another way to control calorie intake is just portion control. Ordering kids meals size helps our pockets and our thighs!
I usually have homemade yogurt and granola (oats, walnuts) every day, so that's 3/8! They only sell frozen blueberries here and they've very expensive, but we have them occasionally. I usually have carrots, since it's an easy vegetable to pack for work. Did not know that black beans are so important, guess I'll have to work on that and the spinach and tomatoes. Thanks for a great post!
