Pedi-Lax Fiber Gummies Review and Giveaway

Every mother worries at some point that their child is not getting enough vitamins, nutrients, or fiber from their daily food intake.  Although we may serve veggies every lunch and dinner, many may be left behind and eventually see the bottom of the garbage can.   Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies, are a daily fiber supplement made just for kids by Fleet, a trusted brand for digestive health for more than 100 years.

Pedi-Lax Fiber Gummies provide kids, ages 2-11, 6 grams of fiber per serving.  The cute little penguin shapes provide a sweet, yummy taste that my kids don't mind eating.  They actually remind me every morning that it is time for the Penguin Gummy.  The manufacturere directions say that kids can take up to 3 gummies daily.  However, knowing the amount of fiber my children already get, I give them one a day.  If in doubt, ask your pediatrician the correct dosage.

Enter for a chance to win the “Kids Keep Moving” Sweepstakes by Pedia-Lax.

Open Discussion: Nudity in Films

In my mind, there is way too much nudity in films today.  There are so many good stories that could be shared with the younger crowd (and the older without embarrassment) if the nudity would be eliminated.  I know there are many films that "require" nudity to keep the storyline real.  I could argue that, but I'll let it go.  There are other films though, usually comedies, that throw in nudity just for the sake of having in the films.  They know the majority of their audience is men, and of course want to please their audience.  In my mind, however, it is unnecessary and quite hard  to watch, especially with my husband sitting right next to me.  We actually try to steer clear of those films, but now-a-days, it pops up in most film with an R rating.  I know everyone has different opinions on the issue, and I'm interested in hearing yours.  Grab a latte, put up your feet, and join the discussion!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Last week both of my girls took field trips to local pumpkin patches.   Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend with my 1st grader so I don't really know many details.  She said it was fun, she bit into an apple with a bug in it, and she fed a goat. I would have really loved to have joined her, but at least she had fun.  I was able to go with my preschooler and we had a great time.

We met up with her class and looked around at the animals, ran through the hay bale maze, and played in a silo filled with dry corn kernels.  After playing for a bit, we all squeezed on to a tractor like a herd of cattle (literally), and took a ride around the farm and out into the pumpkin patch. The kids loved the ride and enjoyed pointing out the apple trees and corn stalks.

After we got to the pumpkin patch, the kids ran around looking for their perfect pumpkin.  And each pumpkin was the favorite until they stumbled across the next one.  Then that one was their favorite.  Once they were all satisfied with their choices, they picked an apple and hopped back on to the tractor.  They enjoyed their ride back and were ready to play some more!  Have your kids enjoyed the pumpkin patch this year?  Grab a latte, put up your feet, and join the discussion!

So Much Love!

I can't even begin to tell you how honored I am to have received the last 7 awards from my wonderful blogging friends.  I have received them over the last month, but have been so busy that I just never got around to posting these lovely awards.  Of course, I have thanked the individuals who shared them with me, but I wanted a chance to acknowledge here on Between the Lines.  Most of these awards require you link back to the person who gave you the awards and to list 7-12  things about yourself, but last week I wrote a post listing 101 Things About Me, so I'm going to let that count.  Cheating??  I don't know, but I would hate to make the poor souls who've already read it, suffer through it again.  So I'll just leave you the link above to use if you haven't had a chance to read it.

The first award I received was the Sunshine Award from Carissa at This Little Family.
The next three awards I won were the Versatile Blogger Award from Shairbearg from The Knit Wit By Shair, Elizabeth from Be Joyful Always, and Kimberly from A Spicy Boy, A Cat, and My Fat A$$.
The next two awards I received were the Lovely Blog award from Angela from Mommy Time Out and Jodi from The Magical Mouse Schoolhouse
The last award I received was the Life is Good Award from Crazy Cat Lady from Crazy Cat Lady's Library.

Ladies, thank you so much  for thinking of me and Between the Lines.  It is truly appreciated.  Now to pass these fun awards on to some of my favorite bloggers.  Recipients definitely deserve all the awards, so feel free to snag them all if you like.

1. Kerri's Klutter
2. La Dolce Vita
3. Sarah's Blog of Fun
4. Survey Junkie
5. Little Yaya's
6. Mia Ma Miah's Diaries

Cystex Review and Giveaway

Most women have experienced a Urinary Track Infection at least once in their life.  And most of us have attempted to drink cranberry juice to fight it or prevent it.  But who has the stomach or patience to drink 8 glasses of cranberry juice each day???  Well thanks to Cystex, you can now receive the same nutrients from 8 glasses of cranberry juice in a single tablespoon of their Liquid Cranberry Complex.

Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex combines the health benefit of eight glasses of cranberry juice in one tablespoon of its unique, convenient Proantinox cranberry formula. More than just cranberry concentrate, its proprietary blend also contains D-Mannose (from cranberries), bromelain (from pineapple), inulin, and vitamin C, a combination designed to boost bladder health.  Cystex is not only beneficial, but it also taste surprisingly good.  I am not a big fan of cranberry juice because of its bitterness.  So I was thrilled that Cystex had managed to take that out of their liquid complex.   Their formula is also lactose, gluten, and sugar-free.  And instead of 130 calories per glass of cranberry juice, Cystex is only 1 calorie per tablespoon.

Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex is backed by a new study being published in the journal Urology, which shows 91% of women taking daily Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex with Proantinox remained free of recurring UTIs.

Giveaway:
One reader will win gift a bottle of Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex with Proantinox.

Mandatory Entry:
Visit Cystex and leave a comment stating something that you learned. Please include your email so that I can contact you if you win.

Extras: (Remember each entry must have a separate comment and an email address is needed to contact winner.)
