The End Of Kindergarten

Tomorrow is the last day of kindergarten for my baby girl…technically. Tomorrow I will drop her off one last time, for a day that will last 1hour and 45 minutes. Not sure why, but I think it’s better to just follow the rules. It seems like just yesterday I was heartbroken as I watched her walk through the doors to that big school alone. I couldn’t believe that she would be ok without me there to help. I couldn’t believe that I was going to lose her for four hours of the day. Luckily for both us, it all went smoothly and she loved Kindergarten. Of course, there were the days where she begged to stay home with me and her little sister, but once she saw the school, independence took over. I am so thankful that she had a wonderful Kindergarten experience. Her teachers have primed her to love school and I pray that this will stick with her forever. I still get nervous sending her to school alone every day, but I felt better knowing that she had teachers I could trust to take the best care of her. Now that she is leaving their care, I can only hope that next year’s teacher will be just as good. Did your kids have a good school year? Are you ready for summer or are you wishing for more school time? Grab a latte, put up your feet, and join the discussion!

Full days next year, oh my gosh!!! I always looked forward to every school break they had. I cried when they started back up every single time.

I'm excited about having her home again too. Not very excited about the full days though.

I separated my twins this year, and it was for the best! Both bloomed in their own way.

While I enjoy having my kids home some of the time, I do look forward to the six weeks they go to day camp!
