The first thing I had to ask when this topic came up was, what is Flickr? Again, I am embarrassed for not knowing something so basic, but at the same time I’m excited to be learning about so many new online resources. So it turns out that Flickr is a website like Photobucket or PicassaWeb. It allows its users to upload and share photos, videos, and images. Using Flickr is free if you keep your uploading to under 100MB. If you need more space, they charge $25 per year for unlimited storage. So what would I do with it? I think Flickr would be a great resource in creating online family albums. After you upload them, you can even edit or crop the individual pictures. When your album is complete you can easily send the link to everyone you know and they can view your pictures all around the world. Flickr can also be used by those of in the blogging world to host our photos. Although I’ve used Photobucket in the past, I’m sure Flickr would work just as well. So, I know I didn’t really answer Chris Brogan’s question, but I’ll need to have time to test it out before I can say what they did right. Which photo hosting website do you prefer? Grab a latte, put up your feet, and join the discussion!

I like Flickr a lot and the photos upload crisper and with better colors!
Good for you... I need to look at the list... I struggle with prompts... I think I'm too rebelious. When someone tells me to write about something I hate whatever I write... go figure.
Thanks for stopping by today. I have had fun reading a bunch of your posts.
Kel,
What a FUN idea. I may have to check out those questions and play along myself.
Definitely something to think about during the summer for my blog.
Love your site, have I told you that already?
